Who is Solstice Party?
I'm Jane - an artist and lover of all things colourful, magical and whimsical.
I live with my partner and our two small children in a cozy co-op home in Vancouver, BC. Before having my wee folk, I spent the better part of two decades working in retail, finishing up as a buyer. That experience inspired me to imagine a shop of my own. From that vision, Solstice Party was born.
Why the name Solstice Party?
Seasonal shifts and phases of the moon have long guided my life; as well, for many years, my family hosted Solstice Parties - gatherings full of good food, drink and lots of merriment. They remain some of my fondest memories and continue to inspire the heart of this shop.
I am also honored to offer the creations of a dear old friend, whose work I deeply admire - Alison Claire Kerr.
